Villa NBP

Phnom Penh, Cambodia — 2009

The villa is located in a residential area in the center of Phnom Penh. The land being cramped, the building was installed on the back to clear a space free street side. Two elements mark the identity and protect the inhabited parts: on the street, the metal filter shutters and wood, and in the background, the structural fabric of the building. The garage is covered by a roof terrace on which the garden expands. A succession of landings leads to the house crossing the different thicknesses. From the living room, the street disappears, and the view extends from the pool to the hanging garden topped with a kiosk for temperate days.
